[ออสเตรเลียใช้ biscuit เหมือนกับ UK ซึ่งหมายถึง cookies/crackers ในอเมริกา]
🔹 We had gastro after eating at Macca’s/Mackers but sadly couldn’t find the dunny there.
(=We had stomachache after eating at McDonald’s but sadly couldn’t find the toilet there.)

[ตอนนี้คำว่า lolly water ได้บัญญัติเป็นศัพท์ใหม่ในพจนานุกรมแล้วค่ะ]

(เก็บร่มไว้ที่บ้านเถอะ แล้วไปเที่ยวทะเลกัน เอาชุดว่ายน้ำ แว่นกันแดด กับรองเท้าแตะไปด้วยนะ)
[โดยปกติแล้ว thongs จะหมายถึง กางเกงชั้นในที่เกือบๆจะเป็น g-string แต่ slang ฝั่งออสเตรเลีย จะหมายถึง flip flops (รองเท้าแตะ)]

(=My boyfriend earned a lot of money. He got me a dozen of lipsticks and an expensive laptop as my birthday present.)
(แฟนของฉันทำงานได้เงินเยอะ ก็เลยซื้อลิปสติก 1 โหล พร้อมกับแล็ปท็อปราคาแพงให้ฉันเป็นของขวัญวันเกิด)
จะสังเกตว่า เค้าชอบย่อคำให้ฟังดูน่ารัก... Nah yeah, they love to shorten words!
